Pupils may not bring iPods, Mp3 players, etc to school under any circumstances.

Cellphones may be used at Grace College to facilitate parents and pupils communication, but the following guidelines must be adhered to :

• Cellphones must be switched off (not on silent) during scheduled school activities.  These include academic classes, discussions, sporting activities and matches, assembly, cultural activities, homework periods, outings etc.
• Cellphones must be kept out of sight, in pockets or bags.  Cellphones may be handed in at the school office for safe keeping, if required.
• Cellphones may only be used during breaks and after school.  Calls should be made discreetly away from the school buildings.

Contravention of the above guidelines will result in the cellphone, iPod, etc., being confiscated and only returned at the end of the school term and, if necessary, the school policy being reviewed.

Liability Clause
Grace College will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cellphones, iPods, Mp3's etc. The school will also not be responsible for misuse of a cellphone by any individual, or for other people's actions, or the quality and content of the messaging.
