Grace College Community Service
All pupils at Grace College are encouraged and expected to be involved in some form of Community Service. Whilst the school does include time allocated to community service during the school day, pupils are expected to be involved in community service initiatives during their own time. The school makes every effort to develop and instill a value of serving others in each of the pupil's hearts. The school currently has the following in place for pupil based community service :

Grade 8 and 10
All Grade 8 and 10 pupils are involved with the teaching and supporting of the Grade 3 and 6 children respectively at Nobanda Primary School in Sweetwaters. Every alternate week during school hours, a teacher will assist the pupils in preparing material which will be presented to the Grade 3's - 6's the following week. The school bus takes our children to Nobanda School during school hours, giving our pupils the opportunity to make a difference by being directly involved with the children in Sweetwaters.
Grade 9 and 11
All Grade 9 pupils are challenged and expected to complete at least 6 hours of community service initiated by themselves during the year. Pupils get involved with initiatives at the SPCA, the local Hospitals, local old age-homes, local churches, etc.
